What you become a part of 


You will be a member of our in-house BeLux Legal team, part of the Legal team of the France – Benelux - Nordics Business Unit (FBN), where you will be a key contributor to our mission of being an integrated strategic business partner to the clients we serve. Providing business-focused, pragmatic advice, counsel, and training on a variety of legal issues, you will enable strategic business initiatives, while ensuring that business and legal risks are managed appropriately. 

What to expect

You will be offered a broad legal role and your main objectives are to provide practical business and legal counsel, in an efficient, timely, and “non-legalistic” manner to the business teams through advice in negotiations and drafting of contracts, to support all activities of CCEP, and to develop tools in order to allow the business partners to work autonomously. Your main responsibilities include the following: 

  • Provide day-to-day legal counsel to our BeLux Business Unit on a broad range of topics in all areas of law: mainly commercial and competition law, contract law, fair trade practices and social law.
  • Rendering pragmatic and creative legal advice to all departments (Sales & Marketing, Field Sales, HR, etc.) in view of reaching the business aims; 
  • Supporting all departments in negotiations and drafting contracts and all other legally relevant documents in accordance with the applicable legislation (commercial law, competition law, labor law etc.); 
  • Developing template agreements, interactive training programs and self-service tools; 
  • Handling and following-up litigation; Managing the work of outside counsel, as appropriate;
  • Serving as Legal representative on ad-hoc project teams;
  • Working with legal colleagues based in the other countries of the group to align legal strategies, advices and tools. You will be part of the FBN legal department, based in Brussels and you will report to the Country Lead Legal BeLux.

Your Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in commercial law and/or competition law, including consultation with strategic business clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, capable of aligning stakeholders on common strategies and viewpoints.
  • Intellectually curious and confident, able to engage with all levels of the organization and handle complex matters.
  • Pragmatic problem solver with a proactive, self-directed approach to work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
