About your new role…
An exciting opportunity has become available in our Packaging Services Division (PSD) team for a Maintenance Inventory Controller. Our PSD team is the internal supplier of plastic primary packaging to the CCEP Australia and Pacific Island businesses. We manufacture and supply over 2.7 billion preforms and closures to CCEP bottling sites located across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, as well as external customers. Pretty exciting stuff!
The PSD Maintenance Inventory Controller is based at our bustling Eastern Creek site, and is responsible for the management and control of PSD maintenance spare parts inventory. The role will provide best practice support and customer service to the wider maintenance team and the overall PSD operations.
What will you be doing?
• Collaborate with your team members to contribute to maintaining spare parts inventory control.
• Drive and ensure cost effective and timely availability of maintenance store inventory items and request parts.
• Track and proactively manage spare parts inventory costs with accurate reporting.
• Carry out the receipting, parts placement, invoicing and issue/return process when required.
• Carry out effective stocktake as per company policy.
• Manage and control inventory risks that potentially could create operational or financial impacts.
• Review and lead any stock discrepancies / stock loss investigations.
• Support and coordinate inventory with the Maintenance Planner.
• Maintain the spart parts store in a clean and safe operating manner
Let's talk about you...
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP
• Knowledge and technical expertise in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) desirable
• Experience in a manufacturing environment in FMCG or similar industry
• Ideal for individuals with experience as purchasing officer or inventory controller in logistics environment.
