Sr Assistant, Reporting

Job Purpose
The Financial Reporting Sr. Assistant will be responsible for providing Reporting services within the Shared Services by producing timely, accurate and complete standard and ad-hoc reports. The position will be tasked with driving and delivering service excellence to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement
Key Responsibilities
• On time and accurate delivery of operational reporting activities
• Assist in the development and preparation of monthly performance metrics
• Provide standardized reports to enable a comprehensive understanding of the business and support informed data driven decision making for senior management
• Perform quality control reviews and monitoring
• Support the improvement of quality of Reporting and Compliance through identification and resolution of issues and continuous improvement of Reporting and Compliance processes
• Support automation projects to improve and develop insightful reports
• Support ad-hoc requests/projects
• Support SSC team members with analysis in order to provide insights on monthly KPI results.
• Collaborate effectively with SSC team members and act on providing the required output.
• Assure that the appropriate internal control environment and SOX compliance are maintained along with compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements
Key Stakeholders
Internal: SSC Service Lines, BU Finance Teams, Operational Excellence Team
External : External audit teams
Requirements:
• Previous work experience in Finance and/or Accounting with focus on reporting and automation, preferable
• University Degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting)
• Fluent written and verbal skills (conversational and business communications) in English
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, required
• ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
• Tableau / Power BI knowledge (advantage)
• Alteryx knowledge (advantage)
• Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
• Insightful, thorough, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
• Accountability & responsibility for own work
• Effectively manages deadlines/time, prioritization, multi-task
