Manager, Account Payable STP with French language skills SCDMNT

The Finance Shared Services STP Accounts Payable Manager (FR BU) with French Language skills will be responsible for providing STP services to the CCEP Business Units including supporting / resolving queries for internal and external customers relating to the STP process within the Finance Shared Services Source to Pay team.

They are responsible for handling escalations, issues and queries, participate in problem identification & resolution across the end to end STP process requiring strong technical knowledge across all STP systems. The STP Accounts Payable Manager must be fully competent and independent in the end to end process in both theoretical and practical terms. The Accounts Payable Manager must be able to resolve STP queries independently. All activities should be carried with upmost efficiency.

The position will be tasked with driving and delivering STP service excellence to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement to further enhance the STP service level and effectiveness expected throughout.

Key Contributions

STP Set up

• Supports the recruitment and development of an appropriately skilled STP Accounts Payable team by ensuring full training and work shadowing is completed for all team members
• Works with the BUs to build positive, constructive relationships and works in partnership with each to drive an effective and smooth deployment of STP processes into the SSC; 
• Supports the transition team to ensure the successful migration of all additional STP in-scope activities to Shared Services; 

Financial Services Delivery

• Responsible for the end to end STP processes
• Responsible for the output and quality of services provided by the CCEP FSS STP Accounts Payable team to key customers (who include Suppliers, Employees, Executives, Regulatory Bodies, etc)
• Monitors and manages the STP output from the BPO service provider, ensuring that all operating and financial objectives are achieved related to the STP processes
• Agree with the relevant STP Service Desk Team Lead general guidelines for escalation of cases to the STP Accounts Payable Team, as well as day to day balancing of workload between the teams
• Supports the successful implementation of standard processes, evaluating end-to-end performance and affecting necessary design or execution adjustments. Ensure that both Shared Services and BPO service provider adopt and implement these processes and policies;
• Oversees the performance of the STP Accounts Payable team and manages performance through metrics and key performance indicators
• Monitors productivity of all Procure to Pay Exception Handlers,  generates reports analyzing issue trends and makes recommendations for improvement of STP service
• Acts as an escalation point for the team on more complex or sensitive issues
• Resolve escalated queries in a timely and appropriate manner, maintaining good customer relationships and high levels of service
• Recommends corrective actions for delivery of STP services to address customer complaints and feedback
• Develops and recommends action plans to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded
• Ensure that Coca-Cola European Partners policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.)
• Monitors to ensure achievement of customer service requirements as defined by both formal Service Partnership Agreements as well as Customer Satisfaction surveys.  This would apply to both Shared Services and outsourced operations
• Monitors the status of the systems in scope of STP;
• Ensures Accounts Payable period end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
• Provides support  to other team members where required, within STP, regardless of sub-team and in accordance with instructions
• Provides mentoring and training to new joiners
• Review and approval of relevant payments
• Support the team in any means necessary in order to deliver performance in accordance to goals and targets;

Relationships

• Builds strong relationship with the equivalent STP Service Desk Team Lead to drive end to end STP service alignment for the relevant BU/country/countries
• Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive understanding and support for STP and Shared Services generally
• Liaises with other key stakeholders as required regarding financial controls and regulatory compliance

• Closely liaises with the BPO service provider regarding STP performance levels and future service delivery opportunities in the STP area;

Continuous Improvement

• Drive an environment within the STP team focused on continuous improvement of STP process efficiencies and customer service

• Oversee strategies focused on the enhancement of business capacity through technology and innovation to facilitate the continuous improvement of STP services

• Drive end-to-end standard STP processes across the CCEP business;

Leadership and People

• Provides coaching, development and motivation to the SSC STP Escalations Team to enable each to maximise their individual and team performance

Qualifications:

•    University degree or equivalent
•    3 years finance experience (with a minimum of 2 years in Procure to Pay) in a multinational organization and/or Shared Services environment
•    Ability to address and (where required) escalate complex issues within the Procure to Pay area
•    Fluent in English & French language skills

•    Line management / supervisory experience preferred
•    Strong ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
