Job Purpose

The Manager, Credit Management & Debt recovery is part of the newly created Australia / New Zealand team within the Bulgaria based Shared Service Centre (SSC) of CCEP. This role will be responsible for managing the output and quality of the services provided by Credit Management & Debt recovery  team to all customers.

The position will be tasked with driving and delivering Customer to Cash (CTC) service excellence to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement. The purpose is to continuously enhance the CTC service level, efficiency and effectiveness. The role will be responsible for effectively communicating and supporting CCEP Credit Management & Debt Recovery strategy whilst maintaining excellent customer relations. Further responsibilities of the role are to manage, develop as well as support the team members and to prioritize effectively, focusing on what adds the most value to the changing business needs. 

The Manager, Credit Management & Debt Recovery will work closely with the Business Unit (BU) to drive an effective and smooth deployment of Credit Risk processes into the SSC. The Manager will also support the transition team to ensure the successful migration of all Credit Risk & Debt recovery in-scope activities to the SSC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributes to definition, scoping and execution of short- and long-term strategies and objectives within Credit management & Debt recovery, in coordination with the BU management team, the relevant cross-functional teams, and other relevant internal or external stakeholders.
  • Oversees the daily Credit management & Debt recovery processes and develops action plans to ensure targets and metrics are achieved or exceeded.
  • Manages issues in business priority acting as an escalation point for the team on more complex or sensitive issues.
  • Ensures all relevant process flows and desk top procedures are reviewed, updated and approved on a regular basis
  • Be a leader to the Credit Management team, supporting them in building independence throughout developing strong business knowledge and capabilities and hold the team admin management.
  • Ensures that the appropriate internal control environment and SOX compliance are maintained along with compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Provides coaching, development and motivation to the Credit Risk Management/Order Review team to enable each to maximize their individual and team performance;
  • Partner with BPT, Finance, Continuous Improvement, other, as business lead for systems, tool and process improvement and optimization.
  • As requested, undertakes projects or activities not specifically outlined above

Experiencerequired

  • Minimum of 5 years in Finance department of a multinational company and 2-3 years is Credit risk management.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions with focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications required

  • University Degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Legal or Accounting).
  • Fluent written and verbal skills (conversational and business communications) in English.
  • Qualification in LEAN Six Sigma is considered an advantage.

Functional technical skills preferred

  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Package
  • ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
  • Knowledge and understanding of Credit Policy and Debt Recovery and relevant legislation

  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks;
  • Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
