The Shared Service Center (SSC) RTR General Ledger Professional (temporary role) will be responsible for providing certain transactional RTR activities for the German CCEP Business Unit including recording general ledger transactions, reconciliations, completing journals entries, month-end and year-end close activities, quarterly reporting, SOX compliance, communication with internal/external auditors. The position will also be tasked with driving and delivering RTR service excellence to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement to further enhance the RTR service level and effectiveness expected throughout.


Financial Services Delivery

  • Delivers successful performance of RTR month-end closing activities under IFRS
  • Prepares IFRS Quarterly reporting Forms to Corporate Controlling for the purposes of external reporting
  • Reviews periodically(monthly/quarterly/annually) the balance sheet accounts for variances/aged items to ensure accounts are accurate and recorded timely
  • Is actively involved in performing regular/ad-hoc reporting for consolidation/management/tax reporting
  • Supports internally different departments across the organization for all RTR-relevant issues
  • Documents GL processes and updates the documentation in case of a process change
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR activities and ad hoc projects
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the IFRS Framework
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls (SOX)


Relationships

  • Collaborates effectively with other team members within RTR and the other teams in the SSC
  • Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders in BU Finance team and Corporate Controlling team to drive understanding and support for GL month-end closing and relevant reporting processes
  • Liaises with BU counterparties to ensure requests are dealt with in a timely manner and information given is relevant and in a usable format.

Continuous Improvement

  • Supports the RTR GL Manager in driving end-to-end standard RTR reporting process
  • Assists in developing best practice processes and highlighting opportunities for process improvement

Skills and Qualifications

  • University Degree in Accounting or related
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • ACCA qualification in progress would be considered a plus
  • Good IFRS knowledge would be considered as an advantange
  • Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer service
  • English & German language working proficiency
  • MS Office and ERP experience essential, preferably SAP and Excel
  • Good team work and communication skills
  • Temporary role
