Enterprise Architect, Lead for SAP Platform
Job purpose
- The Enterprise Architect SAP platform (SAP EA) defines and maintains CCEPs SAP platform reference Architecture.
- The SAP EA ensures a coherent design from process to technology with reference to the architecture strategy & principles.
- The SAP EA defines and maintains the target architecture, transitional states and roadmap for CCEPs S/4 HANA transformation.
- The business purpose of these activities is to align business strategy and IT Architecture and to support efficient execution of the SAP S/4 HANA transformation.
- Drive simplification and standardization across the IT landscape to minimize the cost of operations whilst balancing the need to provide solution choices to meet the need of local markets.
Main responsibilities:
- The SAP EA will be a key senior role in our SAP S/4 HANA transformation. The SAP EA will drive and plan the target state, roadmap and transition states of CCEPs S/4 HANA transformation.
- Ensure a coherent SAP design for an optimal business process support.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of CCEPs SAP platform reference architecture and supporting assets (domain architecture analysis, roadmap, decision papers) – maintained within EAM Tooling.
- As the platform architect the SAP EA maximises the use of our technologies to meet CCEP’s needs, manages decisions around functionality being realised outside core platforms, and brings opportunities to exploit the platform capabilities better to the business needs.
- Define Target Architecture for projects in alignment with reference architecture to meet business goals, support Solution Delivery in implementing the target architecture by providing architecture advice, contribute to defining work packages for vendors to deliver technology implementations, and acting as review body on the architecture of implementations against architecture principles, standards and patterns
- Identify Architecture Design Authority decisions, create input for Architecture Design Authority decisions or support others in creating this material.
- Develops and maintains CCEP architecture policies, standards and patterns.
- Contribute to manage the enterprise-wide architecture.
- All architects are responsible for identifying interlocks, interdependencies and potential reuse across the enterprise
Requirements
- Experience: Solution Architecture role 5Y+
- Experience: Enterprise Architecture role 2Y+
- Profound skills and experience in SAP S/4 HANA / eWM on HANA Architecture
- Experienced in large scale SAP S/4 HANA greenfield implementations and ideally brownfield migrations
- English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate on all organisational levels
- Excellent lateral leadership skill and 2+ Years leadership experience
- Good knowledge and experience in application of EA Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
- Excellent abstraction ability and capable to handle complexity
- Experience working in a distributed matrix organisation
