What you become a part of

In this role you will be part of the People Services Team at CCEP and report into the Payroll Manager. You will be internal customer facing working closely with managers, employees and the rest of the People and Culture community. You will be working in an exciting and pace driven environment with many opportunities for you to be solution oriented and to drive change for GB.

The role of Payroll Specialist is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their Payroll career. You will report into the Payroll Manager and will be the first delegate during absences and projects to ensure the payroll runs accurately and on time.

What to expect

CCEP has an outsourced payroll function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an excellent customer service to employees / managers who have payroll questions or issues
  • Working with People and Culture (HR) Centre of Excellence to provide a comprehensive “One People and Culture” experience for employees
  • Acting as a point of contact for the other People Services teams in case of questions and upskilling (e.g. First Contact, Admin, Time and Occupational Health, People Services Coordinator)
  • Building a working partnership with the payroll vendor (ADP)
  • Looking at ways we can improve our current payroll processes
  • Supporting Payroll Administrators with complex payroll queries
  • Providing general support to the Payroll Manager
  • Completing payroll checks alongside the team

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrable previous experience working within a busy Payroll environment
  • Knowledge of SAP and an understanding of stock transactions is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good customer service & communication skills
  • Organised with ability to work under pressure, keeping to deadlines
  • Continuous Improvement mind set
