Overview

Overwhelmingly, our 1,000 employees tell us that the best thing about working at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners NZ is the people that they work with. We proudly come from all walks of life, across many cultures and backgrounds. Across New Zealand, our people are your neighbours, your friends, and your customers.

We are incredibly proud of the diverse and inclusive culture we have built and the progress we're making towards achieving our vision: to have NZ's most inclusive culture – where everyone’s welcome. At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners NZ, we label bottles, not people. Our workplace is a place where people can grow, be happy, and be well, in a safe and inclusive environment.

We have a Diversity & Inclusion strategy that features the following pillars:

  • Culture and Heritage – We celebrate the ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners NZ and build on our cultural intelligence.
  • Lifestage – We support our people through key life stages including (but not limited to) parenting, menopause, and retirement.
  • Sexuality – We build and champion thought leadership in LGBTI inclusion, fostering a culture of normalisation and high engagement with all employees
  • Diverse-ability – We work to create an environment where opportunities are equal and support is offered to diverse abilities to ensure all employees can flourish.

Rainbow Tick

In 2014, we were the first FMCG business in New Zealand to achieve the Rainbow Tick, a certification showing our policies and practices welcomes and values diversity. Since then, we have been re-evaluated and reaccredited every year.

Gender Tick

Along with a group of proud local companies, we are a foundation member of the Gender Tick and one of the first companies to be accredited in 2018. We recently received the Advanced Gender Tick, indicating we go above and beyond the criteria to achieve accreditation.

Diversity Works NZ

We are proud supporters of Diversity Works. We are also a Diversity Works Alliance Partner.

Zero Harm

We have an uncompromising focus on safety and promote Zero Harm across our business so everyone can go home safely to their families.

YWCA

YWCA recognised our commitment and alignment with their equal pay credentials by awarding us with the YWCA Compact award (2017).

International Women’s Empowerment Principles

We were one of the first organisations in New Zealand to sign on to the International Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) with the Human Rights Commission, acknowledging the fair treatment of our people.

Gender Equality

We have been recognised with the White Camelia Award in 2013 and 2017 by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.

Equal Pay

We are committed to delivering equal opportunities for our people, which includes promoting equal pay and eliminating gender pay gaps. In 2023 we removed our gender pay gap. We will continue to develop and expand our efforts to improve gender balance.
