Manager Demand Planning

Context:

As Manager Demand Planning you will be responsible for delivering on a weekly basis an accurate sales forecast (i.e. expected customer deliveries) for your SKU portfolio (approx. 100 SKUs) and Customer portfolio (approx. 5 customer/channels). Main objective is to deliver an accurate demand plan for the weekly, 13 weekly-plan and deliver input for the operational solves & budget plans so that sales demand can be covered by the planning team on time within the specifications at lowest operational cost whilst meeting agreed internal and external customer service levels.

The demand plan needs to include business change initiatives e.g. baseline forecast, promotions, product innovation or pack changes across Belux CCEP portfolio. The role interfaces  with Centrum of Excellence for statistical forecast, The Coca-Cola Company (sampling volumes), CCEP Sales & Marketing, CCEP Field Sales and Supply Chain functions to deliver the demand plan within the specified time, cost and quality parameters. The demand plan will be used for production planning by Supply Chain and for financial forecasting by Commercial Finance.

Working together with several key stakeholders (colleagues of COE, key account managers, production planning managers, commercialization managers,) will be critical to provide outstanding input for the demand plan aligned to the changing needs of the business.

You will also have to play an important role for the further optimizing of CDSP project planned in 2025.

Discussing, preparing and submitting the yearly volume budget year +1 per sku towards Finance & Production Planning is another important task & responsibility.

You will be part of a strong performing team, which has currently one of the highest forecast accuracy percentage within the European organization, and you will be reporting directly to the Associate Director Demand Planning.

You will closely working with the Sales & Marketing team and Supply Team and will be based in the Anderlecht office.

Your job will involve:

  • Review historical data in IBP together with colleagues of COE in order to create a clean basis for future calculations.
  • Deliver on a weekly basis an accurate sales forecast for you sku portfolio (approx. 100 sku’s) and Customer portfolio (approx. 5 customers/channels)
  • Perform Post implementation reviews on Key Promotions and activities
  • Analyze seasonality and trends, on different levels (SKU, brand/pack/channel/subtrade channel/key account) to be reflected in future forecast.
  • Manage baseline forecast by SKU and by Key Account, generated by the system, using statistical models, on short (0-3 months) and long term (3-6 months) horizon, data to be used as input to Promax.
  •  Work collaboratively with the different stakeholders (colleagues of COEs, KAMs, Field Sales, Operational Marketing team, Promotions, ) to gather all relevant information (promotions, new initiatives, market intelligence, external inputs…) by organizing weekly follow-up meetings and further expand the S&OP process.
  •  Enrich/adapt system forecast with all gathered information to create total expected demand.
  • Estimate expected uplift for all national promotions by SKU and by Key Account and impact on other brands/packaging.
  • Estimate follow-up with Local Production Planning team within Supply Chain to ensure reported sales forecast will be available on time to be delivered to our customers.
  • Analyze, explain and follow-up deviations between sales forecast and actual deliveries in order to correct future expectations.
  • Contribute to the overall Mid-Month Outlook forecast process by supporting commercial finance.
  • Make up, formalize,  discuss & submit yearly ABP volume budget to Finance & Supply Chain.
  • Manage Residual Sales by closely follow up of agreed action plans  & direct selling to traders.
  • Prepare & make up weekly S&OP presentations.
  • Act as spokesman and interface for CDSP projects: Machine Learning & Demand Sensing.


Skills & Essentials:

  • You have a Bachelor (or Master) or equivalent with experience.
  • You are trilingual Dutch/French/English.
  • You have strong analytical skills and eye for details.
  • You are a born communicator
  • Result driven and team player.
  • Sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Commercial mindset.
  • You have experience in FMCG environment,  you have knowledge of SAP /IBP or other planning tools.
