Senior Communications Specialist

Lamar Auckland, Selandia Baru Komunikasi & Urusan Publik 11/11/2025 105235

We're Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP). We're the people behind the iconic bottle and renowned brands. We're the makers, movers and sellers of the world's most loved drinks. We're 42,000 people from 120 nationalities, 31 countries and five generations, speaking 60 languages, who make magic happen every day.

We’ve got an opportunity that doesn’t come around often. We’re after a Senior Communications Advisor for a Mat leave cover for 12 months. The role will see you working closely with both CCEP and The Coca-Cola Company, providing you an unique insight into both sides of the “Coca-Cola system” model.

This is your chance to take on a highly visible role and help beloved local and global brands tell their story authentically. With internal and external communication responsibility, this role is packed with variety.

If you are passionate about making an impact through driving comms, then this role is for you!

The Role

If you love the diversity of a varied workday, then this Communications Advisor role could be right up your alley.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Support the communications team on our comms initiatives, include both internal and externally facing. This may range from Brand PR support for Brand Managers to People and Culture comms for our internal audience.
  • Help manage and support strategically important projects such as Support My Cause, Young Navigators and the work we do with Sea Cleaners
  • Manage the Consumer Facing Approvals process for all content created which will be made public
  • Make sure our people are kept in the know with our Weekly Round Up newsletters
  • Keep your ear to the ground on all things media, utilizing our media monitoring tools to give us a heads up if there’s a relevant mention of our business and set up any reactive monitoring on issues we may experience.

Key to this role is all the relationships you’ll have with great people across our business, an ability to problem solve and comfort in working in the grey. To add to the fun, your role will cover responsibilities across Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), as well as The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC).

What do I need?

You will be an exceptional communicator! Excellent writing skills are essential. You’ll have proven ability to prioritise, coordinate and execute complex projects in a fast-moving business.

You will not just get the job done, but get it done the right way by taking people on the journey and ensuring win-win outcomes for all stakeholders involved.

Ideally, you’d have a strong working understanding of the NZ media landscape from TV and print to digital and social. It will really tip the scales in your favour if you have experience in communications or a similar field and have a tertiary qualification in communications or related discipline. It would also be an advantage if you have experience in a fast-moving complex business.

Over and above everything else, you’ll not only be good at building relationships, but you’ll genuinely enjoy working with others too. The strong relationships with our wider team will be critical to success in this role.

The Benefits.

You'll get a fantastic package that includes:

  • Free monthly product allowances to share with family and friends.
  • Kiwisaver contributions for all employees
  • Employee Share Program – purchase a part of the business and get your shares matched up to $3000 per year
  • Access to our wellbeing program, that includes a gym subsidy, proactive healthcare, medical insurance, and EAP helpline.
  • Great employee experiences including Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, competitions, conferences, recognition programs, giveaways, and product launches.
