ABOUT YOUR TEAM
You’ll be joining the CCEP Packaging Services Division (PSD), an essential part of our operations, responsible for supplying over 2 billion preforms and closures to bottling sites across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.
As part of PSD, you’ll be working alongside a passionate and skilled group dedicated to driving efficiency and innovation in packaging. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our business, ensuring we meet both production goals and our sustainability targets. Together, we are a key enabler of CCEP’s continued growth and leadership in the industry.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Maintenance fitter on dayshift, you’ll play a vital role in the efficient operation of our packaging processes at CCEP. Reporting to the Maintenance team manager, you’ll apply your expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems to carry out machine rebuilds, major equipment overhauls, and preventive maintenance across our packaging operations. A key focus will be on the servicing and upkeep of injection moulding machines, including preform and closure moulds, to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
You’ll work closely with teams across maintenance, production, warehouse, and quality to keep equipment running at optimal levels. Your contributions will directly support CCEP’s commitment to delivering high-quality products while upholding the highest standards of safety, performance, and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Working safely and comply with safety, quality and organisation standards.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting of injection moulding machines, inspections system and other ancillary equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform line changeovers and mould changes on preform and injection moulding machines to support efficient production flow and minimise downtime
- Work autonomously, plan your daily work and necessary parts and complete work to required standard including completing any required administrative tasks.
- Undertake maintenance activities and continues improvement activities.
- Utilise MMS to manage work orders and spares.
- Ensure equipment is operating as intended and escalated issues as required.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping.
- General upkeep of work areas.
- Autonomously to investigate and trouble shoot issues.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Participate in capital project implementations as required.

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Possess a strong safety focus.
