The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive State Security Manager to lead physical security operations across the state, protecting CCEP’s people, assets and operations while ensuring a safe, effective and compliant security environment.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Security Australia, you’ll oversee state security operations, emergency management, investigations, security risk and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also manage a significant outsourced security workforce and work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party security providers.

The role will initially be site-based at our Richlands facility, with occasional travel required to CCEP sites across other states throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead state-wide physical security operations, incident response and emergency management
• Manage and oversee 30+ outsourced security personnel in partnership with third-party security contractors
• Lead local security investigations, supported by the National Investigations Manager
• Conduct security risk assessments and site audits, identifying and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
• Manage security budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
• Support the implementation of CCEP’s national security strategy and framework
• Provide expert security and asset protection advice to stakeholders across the business
• Review and improve security systems, policies and procedures
• Lead security-related continuous improvement projects
• Develop and maintain site-level Business Continuity Plans
• Build strong relationships across Corporate, Supply Chain, Sales and other business functions
• Deliver security awareness training and support a strong security culture

About You

You are an experienced security professional with strong operational leadership, risk management and stakeholder management capabilities. You’re comfortable operating across multiple sites, managing external security providers and providing practical security advice to stakeholders at all levels.

In addition, you will have:

• Extensive security management experience across private sector, government or law enforcement environments
• Experience managing security operations across multiple sites
• Strong knowledge of physical security and asset protection principles
• Experience managing third-party security contractors and service providers
• Strong risk assessment, incident management and investigation capabilities
• Experience managing budgets and delivering cost-saving initiatives
• Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong problem-solving, communication and change management skills
• Experience leading teams or outsourced workforces
• Understanding of fraud risk management and investigations
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or a similarly complex operational environment is highly regarded
• A current Security Licence or eligibility to obtain one
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and First Aid Certificate
• Relevant qualifications in security management, criminology, law enforcement, investigations, policing or a related discipline are desirable
