Operator Material Movement, 6 month secondment – Sidcup

What you become part of:

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as Aseptic products and the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 10 manufacturing lines the site can produce 360,000 cans per hour, 132,000 PET bottles per hour and 48,000 Glass bottles alongside Pouch production for Capri Sun. There are currently around 270 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect:

You will report into a Shift Manager working as part of our production team to help us produce our products  safely and to the highest quality, this will include many various tasks from operating machines, carrying out quality checks, replenishing and entering materials, assisting in the process area and housekeeping tasks.

  • Operating machinery
  • Carrying out and recording quality checks
  • Maintain and refill stock (packaging, bottle lids, preforms etc)
  • Carrying out hygiene tasks
  • Support Engineers and operator technicians to improve line reliability
  • Uphold Food Safety and Health And Safety Regulations
  • Manual Handling  

Skills & Essentials:

  • RTITB Counterbalance FLT license and Reach Truck.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work as part of a team or alone, with little supervision
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
