National Environment Specialist - Water

The Opportunity

As an Environment Specialist – Water, you will join CCEP on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting the sustainable supply, quality, and compliance of water sources across our network. Based from either our Northmead, Moorabbin, or Richlands site, you will report to the Environment Manager and work closely with teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Planning, and Brand Partner Technical.

You will provide technical oversight across water source management, sustainability reporting, water quality compliance, and water treatment processes, while supporting new product development and broader environmental initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical capability, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to balance operational priorities with long-term strategic planning.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to CCEP’s sustainability ambitions while supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality products across a complex national supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities


• Support the implementation and ongoing management of CCEP’s national water strategy
• Manage water source performance, compliance, contingency planning, and supply continuity across operational sites
• Monitor and report on sustainability metrics, including bore levels, extraction volumes, and source vulnerability assessments
• Develop and support Source Water Management Plans and sustainability improvement initiatives
• Coordinate and review water quality analysis schedules and compliance reporting
• Provide technical expertise on water treatment processes, water chemistry, and process optimisation initiatives
• Support new product development and water-related capital or infrastructure projects
• Manage external service providers and water source agreements to ensure operational performance and compliance
• Partner with internal stakeholders and industry bodies to support sustainability, regulatory, and environmental outcomes
• Support food safety and quality compliance standards across all water sites

About You


You are a technically strong and commercially minded environmental or water specialist who thrives in operational environments and enjoys solving complex challenges through collaboration and continuous improvement.

In addition, you will be:


• Experienced within Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or FMCG environments
• Knowledgeable in water treatment processes, water chemistry, and environmental compliance requirements
• Strong in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships
• Comfortable managing competing priorities across operational and strategic initiatives
• A proactive problem solver with strong analytical and critical thinking capability
• Organised, disciplined, and confident working autonomously within a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Food Science, or a related discipline
