The overview

You’ll have an important and highly varied role to play at your CCEP site. When a production line or machinery breaks down, you’ll react fast and use your technical knowledge to solve the problem. When everything’s working well, you’ll carry out checks, risk assessments and inspections to pre-empt any issues.

Success profile

Working as part of our Production Team, you will report to the Production Manager on site and will be required to safely operate and maintain machinery and production lines. This will include all aspects of canning, glass and bottle lines to ensure the highest quality of production of all Coca-Cola beverages. A willingness to work 12-hour shifts covering days and nights is also expected.

About the role:

You’ll be trained to operate a forklift truck and supported throughout your onboarding. Once established, your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking and safely stacking goods into block stacks, gravity racking, and drive-in storage
  • Using SAP and Extended Warehouse Management systems to manage stock and vehicle movements
  • Assembling orders for dispatch and carrying out case-picking when required

Our Wakefield Distribution Centre operates 24/7, with an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse holding 28,000 pallets, plus a conventional warehouse with 12,000 pallets. We handle over three million pallets annually and manage up to 360 vehicle movements daily at peak.

Salary and benefits:

You’ll receive a salary of £36,201 per annum, plus an annual performance-related bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
