The role:
The Fleet Coordinator oversees the operational and administrative aspects of the company’s light vehicle fleet. This includes vehicle tracking, diagnostics, servicing and vendor management. The role ensures that vehicles are always in good condition for use, while also identifying opportunities to reduce fleet-related costs and improve efficiency. The Fleet Coordinator is responsible to ensure all vehicles are checked and oversees the quotes from vendors vs the actual condition of the vehicles. This position must ensure that all quotes are accurate and correct, inspecting the vehicle before and after service, as well as after the vehicle has been returned to the users.

A well-presented, highly personable and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Diploma in Automotive technology preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in fleet coordination and automotive servicing.
- Experience working with third-party service providers and managing vehicle maintenance.
- Experience working in a dealership or service workshop environment is highly regarded.
- Valid Class 6 driver’s license
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in MS excel and fleet tracking systems.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Good analytical thinking and cost management.
