It is also the only site in GB that produces our Oasis drinks. Job Purpose:

The Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring that all Quality and Food Safety requirements are consistently met within their assigned Performance Cell or Area. This role drives the implementation of standardized ways of working, promotes continuous improvement, and fosters a culture of compliance and good manufacturing practices (GMP) across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with Quality and Food Safety standards, policies, and procedures within the designated area.
  • Act as the primary quality lead for the Performance Cell, supporting operational teams in day-to-day quality and food safety matters.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., non-conformances, ppk, GMP scores, customer complaints).
  • Lead and support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality-related incidents. Establishing Action Plans to avoid repetitive issues and ensure its implementation
  • Champion and embed standardised operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices within the area to drive consistency and reduce variation.
  • Conduct routine quality audits and GMP checks to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Support training and upskilling of team members on quality and food safety principles. Including Lab Technicians team to ensure maximisation of individual and team performance.
  • Collaborate and coach cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, HSE) to proactively improve Quality standards in the performance unit and identify risks driving continuous improvement. 
  • Lead quality culture throughout site.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
  • Participate in Operational Excellence projects as required

Experience preferred:

  • Proven experience in a quality role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and GMP requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing abilities across different levels of the organization.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and quality tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA) is desirable.

Qualifications required:

Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Quality Management, or related fields are preferred.
