MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS MANAGER – MOORABBIN
About your new role…
As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind the site's success and the face of the business within the local operation. This is a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for operational performance, leading a manufacturing site to deliver exceptional results across safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, yield and sustainability metrics. You will;
- Develop and role model a culture of performance with the site leadership team, providing vision, direction, support, coaching and training for your direct reports to ensure the team safely maximise their individual and team performance.
- Oversee talent succession planning and development activities, with a focus on attracting and retaining the best talent and capability for the site.
- Develop the site Annual Business Plan, oversee site budget and metrics, and ensure a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with CCEP and brand partners including The Coca Cola Company’s, legislative and quality, environmental and safety legislation and standards.
- Play a leadership role across the Supply Chain function, working together with other functional teams to ensure we operate as one supply chain to deliver for customers and our people.
- Support and participate with the Engineering & Technology teams in new investments or initiatives within the site and collaborate on key projects as required, ensuring change and operational readiness is effectively managed for the site or production team.
- Partner together with the state and national Logistics teams to develop smooth operations at the inlet (empties, raw materials) and output (finished product) of production lines.
- Partner closely with the Planning team to optimise production scheduling, ensuring that this delivers the best Production outcomes and facilitates achievement of the operational targets.
What are we looking for?
- An inclusive and compassionate leader who will foster positive team culture.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment including people leadership of an operational unit, within a unionised environment.
- Operational management experience that includes production planning, raw materials/yield management and food factory quality standards.
- Knowledge and technical expertise in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety (Legislative and Leadership) and Quality Assurance.
- And understanding of SAP and EWM and other supply chain production and inventory management systems is desirable.
