Prof, Material Planning, Pan EU
The Material Planning Professional’s role is wide ranging, but with a key focus on managing the medium to long term supply pipeline to ensure CCEP production plans and plants, have continuity of supply & agility to support our market needs.
You will play a pivotal role in managing supply for a given portfolio(s), and be central in conversations externally to our supply base, and a wide-range of internal stakeholders.
What to expect:
• Accountable for developing a strong supply pipeline for raw materials / ingredients covering a horizon of 1-18 months
• Ensure outstanding levels of stock availability for all CCEP production sites
• Minimising & eliminating excess inventories & material write-off risk
• Running weekly MRP’s and managing weekly & monthly material & ingredients forecasting
• Keep track of volume allocation agreements & agreed stock profiles.
• Deliver the annual budget / seasonal updates for the portfolios managed
• Ensure that inventory targets are met during the fiscal year
• S&OP responsibility for your portfolio & suppliers and to share risk & opportunity clarity at various stakeholder engagement sessions
• Ensure material & ingredients forecasts reflect the latest material / vendor combinations managing properly phase in / phase out timings to maximise supply & minimise write-off
• Pro-actively provide visibility to the business on season profiles, risks and opportunities and build contingency plans in collaboration with procurement and the sites
• Collaborate with BU Short Term Planning teams, Sites , Mid Term Planning, Strategy Planning, Procurement and other key stakeholders within the business
• Closely work with the product development teams to support new products implementation through the supply of new raw materials aligned to the change agenda of the business
• Manage relationships with suppliers to enable mutual trust and the prioritization of our products
• Monitor and feedback the performance of the suppliers, support procurement with the contract negotiation with suppliers and the SRM process
Skills and Experience:
• 2+ years’ experience in supply chain environment
• Experience in Material Planning is essential
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to pay attention to detail, the ability to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to build and sustain working relationship across multiple functions and sites & challenge stakeholders.
• Result driven and team player
• Sense of responsibility and ownership
• Systems knowledge: SAP APO, Excel (advanced / mastery level), PowerPoint, SharePoint.
