We are on the lookout for a Workforce PlanningSpecialist to drive optimal Field Sales operations by managing end-to-end workforce planning, aligning workforce availability with business needs, and supporting routing and public holiday catch-up strategies to maximise field efficiency. This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
Your Impact
As the Workforce Planning Specialist you’ll deliver actionable insights to leadership, enabling data-driven decisions on staffing, coverage, and performance optimisation.
Additionally, the role may support other workforce planning and operational analyst tasks, enhancing the agility and effectiveness of the Field Sales function.
Auckland-based and reporting to the Business Process Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the greater Away from Home Sales Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse activity plans and data to forecast demand, model resource allocation, and optimise workforce planning.
- Manage and update field dashboards to ensure coverage and adjust for changes.
- Deliver data-driven forecasts and recommendations to leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain key reports and tools, collaborating with teams to improve reporting and user experience.
- Support public holiday catch-up processes, routing optimisation and change management initiatives.
About You
You bring a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to tell compelling stories from data, transforming complex information into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and business growth.
Skills & experience required:
- Data-driven thinker skilled at turning insights into action
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication both verbal and written
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in FMCG
- Power BI, SAP CRM, Sales Force, Tableau experience
- Knowledge of workforce planning tools
- Advanced Excel user
