ABOUT YOUR TEAM

You’ll be joining the CCEP Packaging Services Division (PSD), an essential part of our operations, responsible for supplying over 2 billion preforms and closures to bottling sites across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea. As part of PSD, you’ll be working alongside a passionate and skilled group dedicated to driving efficiency and innovation in packaging. You will work with a small team Monday to Friday that will directly contribute to the success of our business, ensuring we meet both production goals and our sustainability targets. Together, we are a key enabler of CCEP’s continued growth and leadership in the industry.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As aMaintenance Fitter, you’ll play a vital role in the efficient operation of our packaging processes at CCEP. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of our injection moulding machines and associated equipment. In this mechanical trade role, you will apply your skills in mechanical and hydraulic systems to drive improvements in cost, efficiency, and productivity across our operations. You’ll work closely with various teams, including maintenance, production, warehouse, and quality, collaborating to keep our equipment running at optimal levels. Your contributions will directly support CCEP’s mission to deliver high-quality products while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Working safely and complying with safety, quality, and organisational standards.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting injection moulding machines, inspection systems, and other ancillary equipment.
• Work autonomously, plan your daily tasks and necessary parts, and complete work to the required standard, including completing any necessary administrative tasks.
• Undertake planned maintenance activities and continuous improvement activities in workshop as well as on machines.
• Utilise MMS to manage work orders and spares. 
• Ensure equipment is operating as intended and escalate issues as required.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping. 
• General upkeep of work areas. 
• Autonomously investigate and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Participate in capital project implementations as required.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU!

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in FMCG
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Possess a strong focus on safety
