We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to lead the safety function at one of our largest manufacturing sites. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape culture, influence behaviours, and make a meaningful impact on the wellbeing of our people.

At the heart of our operations is a commitment to zero life-changing injuries. We believe safety is everyone’s responsibility, and we’re looking for someone who can inspire, engage, and drive real change.

Your typical day would look like (but not be limited to):

  • Leading the site safety function as the go-to expert for all health and safety matters.
  • Partnering across teams — operations, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain — to identify risks and implement practical, high-impact safety solutions.
  • Conducting risk assessments and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Designing and delivering site-specific safety programs aligned with national strategies and our Health & Safety Centre of Excellence.
  • Monitoring and reporting on safety performance, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Championing employee engagement through training, toolbox talks, and visible leadership.
  • Coaching and mentoring frontline leaders, influencing safe behaviours across all shifts.
  • Collaborating nationally with your fellow Health & Safety Business Partners to share best practices and support broader business safety priorities.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally within FMCG or beverage production.
  • Strong knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation, standards, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A hands-on leadership style, thriving in fast-paced environments and passionate about building a safety-first culture.
