Job Purpose 

The Senior Manager, Fixed Assets is responsible for leading the Fixed Assets team, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and compliance for fixed assets and leases. The role partners with business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, continuous process improvement, strong internal controls, and high-quality financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and CCEP Group policies.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage the Fixed Assets Accounting team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and continuous development
  • Oversee the accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets, leases (IFRS 16), and related transactions in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and CCEP Group policies
  • Ensure the timely completion and review of fixed asset accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes 
  • Monitor fixed asset balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items 
  • Lead period-end close activities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reporting deadlines
  • Ensure quarterly schedules, reports and inputs where applicable are provided in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on capital expenditure, fixed assets, depreciation, impairment, disposals, and leasing matters 
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the RTR function 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, providing supporting documentation and addressing audit queries 
  • Monitor fixed asset and lease accounting risks, implementing corrective actions where required 
  • Lead and support finance transformation projects, system implementations, and process enhancements related to fixed assets/leased assets 
  • Build strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service and issue resolution

  • Internal: GFC, Internal Control, CoE, Tax Team, BU Finance Team
  • External: Auditors

Experience required 

  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience preferably in a SSC multi-national organization and/or Big 4 audit firm (Fixed Assets experience is an advantage)    

Language Capability & expert level

  • Fluent English
  • Additional European language beneficial

Education & Qualifications required 

  • University degree in Finance/ Accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
