The Statewide Recycling team is responsible to validate incoming stock, ensure the highest quality material available is sorted, baled appropriately, loaded and dispatched on time to a destination somewhere around the world. ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE…

We are looking for someone who wants to build a career with us long term, and your role of Operations Supervisor will ensure that our Production and Warehouse facility operates safety and efficiently by engaging and harnessing high levels of engagement from your team. Safety and wellbeing are important to us and are at the forefront of everything that we do.

Your role will entail;

  • Safety King or Queen! Setting the standard for our safety culture, recording incidents, accidents, identifying hazards and corrective actions, reviewing, and monitoring WH&S procedures and policies through the CCEP safety systems.
  • Managing Contractors who may be performing maintenance tasks, providing site services or transport services, and managing visitors  to the site and ensuring their H&S compliance exceeds minimum requirements.
  • Leading, assisting, and promoting all CCEP and Statewide safety initiatives, including SWP reviews, risk assessments, safety observations (20 per month), maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly safety activities as outlined in the “Key Event Schedule”.
  • Consultation, Training, Competency, and adherence to SWP’s with authorisation and sign off.
  • Authorisation and sign off Checklists which have been completed by  permanent and labour hire staff.
  • Creating a positive and engaging team culture.
  • Clear communication with direct reports and senior managers.
  • Constantly working on Continuous improvement through consultation and innovation.
  • Ensure leave entitlements are managed so they do not affect the operations in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
  • Manage team productivity and KPI’s.
  • Regular inspections of work practices of staff and contractors.
  • Organisation, auditing and re stocking of the tool room to ensure parts and consumables are readily available.
  • Maintain accurate & on-time inward and outward goods and equipment maintenance and labour records.
  • Manage internal transport contractors who provide collection services including the following standards (paperwork, customer service and quality of work).
  • Collaborating with the Finance and Administration functions to ensure that the business operates effectively and efficiently.

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced leader who engages and motivates their team in a busy production environment.
  • Forklift License is a requirement of this role.
  • Knowledge of processing and logistics processes.
  • A demonstrated track record of partnering and engaging with your team and the wider business to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with your team and different teams within the business.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and improvements.
  • Strong safety leadership
  • Ability to use business tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
