The Role
Due to internal promotions and growth, we are looking for a team player and proactive Logistics Coordinator who is looking for a career with potential growth and autonomy!
Our business couldn't operate without our customer driven, quick-thinking and energetic Distribution Centre Team Members. It’s a fast-moving, hands-on, physical role - Working together as a team to pick our iconic beverage brands accurately, safely and efficiently, ready to hit the shelves and refresh our customers.
We are looking for a natural leader who is both confident and can really take the initiative in ensuring a smooth shift for all and can jump in with ideals and solutions! Ideally, you are currently a forklift operative who is passionate about what you do and now looking for a role where you can now step up and make an impact.
There really is proven accelerated career progression with us (most of our managers started off in our Distribution Centre teams!) and the role would suit someone who is results orientated, solutions driven and with a high attention to detail. You will also be required to demonstrate safe work behaviours, lead by example and encourage others to do the same.
A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining and supporting effective processes; efficiently, accurately and on time.
- Managing load processing.
- Producing workload for the day.
- Allocating team to work roles each day.
- Addressing team at morning toolbox
- Operating technology and machinery in a safe and efficient manner, which will include Forklifts for those licensed to operate.
- Taking care for the health and safety of yourself and others at work.
- Being a mentor and lead by example.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have/be or possess:
- Hold a current forklift license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, have some knowledge of SAP.
- Have clear, concise communication and numerical skills.
- Be physically capable of completing manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, flexible and possess eye for detail.
- Previous Warehousing / Logistics experience in FMCG or similar industry, or a desire to learn.
- Possess a strong safety focus and a knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (COR).
