As part of the larger CCEP Australia family, Grinders Coffee has become one of Australia's premier coffee companies. From humble beginnings in Melbourne, it has grown to be one of the largest coffee houses in Australia and one of the fastest growing Strategic Business Units within CCEP. Grinders now encompasses a number of well-known brands including Grinders Coffee, Giancarlo Coffee and Temple Tea & Taboo.

Over the last 7 years the business has grown exponentially in volume and has partnered with some iconic businesses that have driven profitable outcomes and increased brand recognition.

The Grinders Team is based in our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria. Supply Chain compromises an array of function under its banner and the reach extends from procurement of both green beans & finished products to customer deliveries.

Supply Chain’s effort is focused on supporting Grinders’ journey to deliver year on year EBIT growth through relentless innovation, state of the art manufacturing capability and consistent drive to enhance customer service experience. 

About your new role…

As our new QA Coordinator you will not only have passion for our awesome coffee, but you will also be proud of your  high attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will be exposed to stakeholders of all levels within our business - So being both friendly and confident is a must!

You will be joining a collaborative and experienced team. Plus your role will have flexibility in your start and finishing hours – so you can really have healthy work life balance!

This role would suit someone who has had exposure to Change and Safety Management systems, auditing. Possession of a Food Science Degree would also be advantageous.

A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:

  • Leading daily cupping sessions
  • Collecting and analysing the data for compliance to respective requirements
  • Ensuring appropriate corrective action for identified non-conformance is completed in full and on time Ensure customer and consumer complaints are managed in a timely manner
  • Participating in operational reviews, shift handovers and planning meetings to ensure that quality requirements are met to assist delivery of business KPis
  • Roll-out all Technical policies & procedures and monitor to ensure 100% completion
  • Ensuring risks are controlled to acceptable levels before work commences and regular review of risk controls occur

To be successful in this role, you must be/have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (prior beverage experience would be advantageous but not essential)
  • Confident verbal and written communication and ability to engage clearly with all levels of stakeholders
  • An ability to innovate and focus on continuous improvement
  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic with an ability to be flexible and responsive under pressure.
  • Have excellent time management and meticulous planning and organisational skills
  • Have strong technical skills and experience using: SAP ECC,  Salesforce, Integrum, Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, etc)
