The Role

We’re looking for two experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our Moorabbin team on a rotating shift. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Fault finding, diagnosing, and resolving equipment issues to minimise downtime
  • Self-prioritising breakdown and PM activities within the weekly schedule
  • Interpreting parts and technical diagrams
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and monitoring equipment performance using Maximo

About You

You’ll bring:

  • A mechanical trade qualification (essential)
  • Experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an FMCG or production environment
  • Basic machining skills (mills, lathe, drill press)
  • Fault-finding and corrective maintenance experience (e.g., gearboxes, machines)
  • Familiarity with isolation and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Welding experience (MIG/TIG) – beneficial but not essential
  • Understanding of GMP, SOPs, and HACCP standards
