About your new role…
Our fabulous Environment Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our organisation operates in a manner that is environmentally responsible, sustainable, and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
We have a truly special opportunity to join our team in this National Environmental Specialist role. You will get to partner with our various teams at CCEP, and be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs, procedures, and associated documentation for environmental activities. The role involves assisting in the monitoring of environmental system compliance, identifying areas of opportunity for improvement, and ensuring those improvements are implemented. This is a site based role, however, we offer flexibility to work from home 1 or 2 days per week.
What will you be doing?
- Environment Management System:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs, procedures, and associated documentation for environmental activities.
- Support the continual monitoring of environmental system compliance, identifying areas of opportunities for improvement and ensuring those improvements are implemented.
- Assist in ensuring ISO 14001, KORE, and other relevant compliance systems and standards are maintained.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in environment management systems and technical areas of environment e.g., water management, energy management, Aspects, and Impacts.
- Lead internal and support external QESH audits including GHG assurance, and ISO 14001 audits.
- Data Management & Integrity
- Maintain and enhance QESH data systems (e.g., incident reporting, audit tracking, QESH metrics).
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms.
- Enhance, communicate, and provide training on CCEP validation and quality control processes.
- Facilitate and coordinate data assurance audits across Supply Chain.
- Reporting & Insights
- Maintain, enhance and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into clear visualisations and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Excel, or Tableau.
- Provide insights to Supply Chain teams on data queries, variances, and interpretation to support operational decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis to support proactive QESH management.
- Compliance & Performance Monitoring
- Track and report on compliance with regulatory and internal QESH standards.
- Support audit preparation and follow-up through data-driven insights.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics across QESH domains.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Operations Teams, QESH Teams, and leadership to understand reporting needs.
- Provide training and support on data systems and reporting tools.
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuous Improvement
- Recommend improvements to data collection, reporting processes, and system integration.
- Support initiatives that enhance QESH performance through data-driven decision-making.
- Project Support:
- Support all environmental national projects and initiatives to support CCEP’s climate and water strategy.
- Assist in identifying, developing, and supporting the implementation of site-based best in class projects and strategies to reduce energy, water, and waste in line with CCEP’s sustainability strategy.
Let’s talk about you…
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Knowledge in ISO 14001, and other relevant environmental compliance systems and standards.
- Minimum 3 years experience in an environmental management or related role within FMCG.
- Experience in assisting in tracking, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on environmental data.
- Experience in conducting or leading environment audits.
- Experience in supporting the development and implementation of environmental programs and sustainability plans is essential.
