What we expect of you
- Responsible for the coordination of your carriers ensuring their adherence to agreed service levels.
- You will be accountable for exceeding KBI performance including balancing cost with the delivery of service excellence to customers.
- Delivering world class customer service and service KBl's, reporting and tracking performance vs. KBls to drive continuous improvement in line with the business plan.
- Looking for, and finding opportunities to remove complexity and reduce cost without jeopardizing service levels.
- You will engage with a wide range of colleagues across internal and external Supply Chain to ensure all objectives are achieved, embracing and driving team working and flexibility to support the achievement of the team and business unit.
- The delivery of key projects and Customer Logistics programmes, sharing and replicating best practice with colleagues to improve processes and work through issues to resolution.
Skills & Essentials
- The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in a logistics environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel to include, vlookups and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform under high levels of pressure within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain and make sound, timely decisions, without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Good GB Geographical awareness would be beneficial.
