The Opportunity
As a McDonald’s Calibration Technician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of beverage equipment across McDonald’s restaurants throughout the region. You’ll deliver hands-on technical service, perform quality calibrations, and ensure every product served meets the highest standards.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel. You’ll work independently while building strong relationships with customers, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum equipment performance.
This role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis (32 hours, across 4 days), based from our Richlands Site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality calibration, adjustments, and servicing of beverage equipment across McDonald’s sites
- Diagnose and complete repairs efficiently, with a strong focus on first-time fixes
- Identify, report, and resolve quality or equipment issues, including feedback on data integrity and performance
- Provide professional, proactive customer service and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and stakeholders
- Adhere to safety standards, safe work practices, and compliance requirements at all times
- Manage parts inventory and service vehicle effectively
- Utilise IT systems for service reporting, time tracking, and operational processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall team success
- Work in collaboration with your manger to identify opportunities for technical skill development.
About You
You’re a technically skilled, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in the field, solving problems in real time, and working independently.
In addition, you will be:
- Trade qualified (Electrical or Refrigeration preferred, minimum Cert II Electrical)
- Experienced in beverage dispensing systems, post-mix or refrigeration equipment (preferred)
- A strong communicator with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively
- A proactive problem-solver who can work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Safety-focused, with a commitment to following procedures and best practice
