The role:
The role of Project Engineer will be available for an immediate start, on a 12 month fixed term basis. You will be based at our Richlands site, reporting to the Engineering Manager who oversees Queensland and you will work as part of a small team to provide effective end to end management of multiple capital projects concurrently. Projects will be varied across the site and will include packaging, liquid processing, site services and logistics across the capital portfolio.
The role also provides site engineering support to meet business requirements for new product development and equipment obsolescence replacements.
You will be working in collaboration across multiple functions within the business including Operations, Logistics, Quality, Safey, Environment, Commercial and Finance.
The role will also be exposed to multiple levels throughout the business and will require effective communication from front line operations to director level.
A typical day will look like (but not be limited to):
- Manage Projects from concept to handover including scope, time, budget, risk and stakeholder management
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to the review of proposals and designs to ensure optimal outcomes for CCEP
- Evaluate, Plan and implement capital works and major maintenance (capital) work to meet or improve business performance.
- Optimise the use of external resources on tasks through the development of accurate specification of work, effective contractor management, supervision and planning.
- Deliver timely solutions to projects for CCEP’s Supply Chain in line with the operations objectives
- Work with site engineering providing technical support as required
About you
- Degree qualified, ideally with experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or operations sector
- Experience in FMCG, ideally within beverage processing and packaging
- You will have experience in complex projects including exposure to the different aspects of the project life cycle from concept to delivery
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and influencing multiple level stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple project concurrently and at various stages of project life cycle
Qualifications / Licences:
- Engineering Degree qualified, ideally with experience in FMCG
- Recognised Project Management post graduate qualification would be well regarded
