Legal Counsel, Integrated Shared Services Bulgaria

A broad legal role requiring excellent qualities to deliver key objectives which include providing the business with strong practical business and legal counsel and be a key contributor to delivering the company’s key activities.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to) involvement in some or all of the following activities:
- Advising on a broad range of legal issues arising from day-to-day operational matters, activity and business needs in Bulgaria, for both Sofia and Varna offices, covering a variety of legal disciplines. These will include contracts; commercial law; employment law; regulatory & compliance and development of local policies, including in key areas such as Data Protection, AML, Whistleblowing, Anti-Bribery, etc.; corporate governance; technology; insurance.
- Delivering trainings on various legal topics to stakeholders.
- Providing support on additional matters as required.
- Providing solution-focused, commercial and creative legal advice to all parts of the organisation in view of reaching the business objectives.
- Partnering with local business leads.
Experience preferred
- Еxperience in Bulgarian legal matters, preferably as in-house in multi-national companies and/or at reputable law firms.
- Wider legal understanding in respect of employment, contracts, commercial, corporate, regulatory and compliance, data protection, property, technology and insurance.
- Fluency in written and spoken Bulgarian and English.
- Master’s degree in Bulgarian Law, qualified to practice in Bulgaria
