The opportunity

As Senior Manager PPM Business Partner Home (Retail) Channel, you will be the primary finance business partner to the Home Leadership Team. You will bring an independent financial perspective, influence strategic and commercial decisions, and help the channel deliver sustainable profitable growth.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director BELUX, you will work closely with commercial leaders and Key Account Managers to evaluate customer, category and portfolio performance, optimize commercial investments, and identify risks and opportunities. You will translate complex financial and commercial information into clear recommendations and ensure decisions are supported by robust analysis.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will take ownership of the Home Channel performance agenda, challenge assumptions constructively, and proactively drive action across Finance and Commercial teams.

Your responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Home Leadership Team, influencing strategic and commercial decisions and constructively challenging the business.
• Drive insight into customer, channel, category and portfolio profitability, identifying risks and opportunities to improve sustainable value creation.
• Provide financial leadership on customer negotiations – and active face-to-face participation where needed, trade investment, pricing, promotions, assortment and portfolio choices.
• Analyse and explain revenue and profitability performance, translating outcomes into clear recommendations and corrective actions.
• Lead the Home Channel performance management cycle, including monthly closing analysis, forecasting, outlooks, scenario planning and business performance reviews.
• Translate commercial strategy into financial targets and performance measures through the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Business Planning (ABP) processes.
• Control and optimize revenue, trade investment and marketing budgets, ensuring strong financial discipline and return on investment.
• Independently identify business risks and opportunities, formulate recommendations, and drive agreed actions through to execution.
• Continuously improving financial tools, reporting and planning processes, using data and digital solutions to increase efficiency and decision quality.
• Ensure compliance with relevant company procedures, financial controls, SOX requirements, governance standards and internal policies.
• Lead or contribute to local and FBN cross-functional initiatives that support business improvement and transformation.

The profile that will make a difference

• Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent through relevant experience.
• Significant experience in Business Controlling, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or a related finance role within a complex business environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of the financial drivers of revenue growth, customer profitability and value creation.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead beyond formal authority.
• Confident and constructive challenger, able to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills; formal training in and practical application of the GAP Negotiation methodology would be considered a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, curious and continuous improvement-oriented, with the drive to move from insight to execution.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French, with a strong working knowledge of the other national language considered a significant asset.
