Key Account Manager - Grocery

Right now, we need a Key Account Manager to join the team and do just that!

Your Impact

As the Key Account Manager for a leading national retail partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development and delivering commercial success. You will lead the strategic business plan for this key customer while supporting initiatives across the broader category and field sales teams.

Auckland-based and reporting to the Head of Customer, you’ll be an integral part of our Grocery Head Office Sales team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage the strategic relationship with this specific retailer, acting as a trusted partner to drive mutual growth.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific plans that align with both internal goals and customer needs - ensuring sustainable, profitable outcomes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across the “at home” team to lead initiatives that benefit the broader business.
  • Translate aligned customer strategies into actionable plans for the CCEP field team, ensuring clarity and consistency in execution.
  • Apply a solutions-focused mindset to address business challenges, using strong analytical and interpersonal skills to drive outcomes.
  • Serve as the nominated cover for the ISP function, ensuring continuity and support when required.

About You


You bring a proven ability developing and managing successful customer relationships. Your commercial mindset, strategic thinking, and ability to influence outcomes will be key to succeeding in this role. Skills & experience required:

  • Previous FMCG experience, preferably in Account Management, Category Management or Supply Chain
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Experience managing and influencing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently
  • High proficiency in Excel - as well as Powerpoint, SAP, Nielsen, Quantium/Dunnhumby
