The Grinders Supply Chain Team is based in our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria. Supply Chain compromises an array of function under its banner and the reach extends from procurement of both green beans & finished products to customer deliveries.

 

About your new role…

Due to incredible growth of our delicious brand, we have a wonderful opportunity to join our Grinders team in this role of Raw Materials Coordinator based at our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria. It is a very exciting time to join our team as we continue to increase our market share. 

As our Raw Materials Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the production schedule through leading upstream supply of Raw coffee and packaging materials to in-feed locations and key packing lines.

This role ensures that workflow is prioritised effectively, with tasks completed on time, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:

  • Support the roasting process consistently meet first-time quality standards and technical specifications
  • Regularly inspect green bean loading equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with fill-rate expectations.
  • Complete all allocated tasks (mainly green bean loading) in full and on time, coordinating and prioritising as required.
  • Store goods and raw materials appropriately within the warehouse.
  • Provide support to the Warehouse Team Member across both logical and physical inventory tasks and assist with factory start-up and shutdown procedures.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational performance.
  • Maintain work areas and equipment, including performing preventative maintenance where applicable.
  • Ensure effective communication of safety, quality, and operational updates across all shifts.
  • Role model safe behaviours and lead a proactive safety culture across the team
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and is looking for a solid career!

You will be a fit for this role if you bring/are:

  • Capable of lifting up to 20 kg unassisted.
  • Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong work ethic and organisational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Availability to work weekday evening and/or Saturday day shifts as required.
  • Understating of SAP – ECC

Qualifications/Licenses

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality standards and consistent product delivery.
  • Forklift licence required or willingness to obtain one with our help and support
