Logistics Inventory Controller

What you will be doing?
- Control and monitor full goods inventory, maintaining stock integrity and minimising discrepancies.
- Investigate and mitigate inventory issues, including potential out-of-stock events and durability concerns.
- Liaise closely with Distribution Centre teams to ensure Inventory strategies are executed effectively.
- Process regional and metro product returns, coordinating with carriers, transport teams, and DC staff to ensure smooth handling and resolution.
- Manage NCRs and Quality Control Issues for damaged or non-compliant stock, following through with internal teams to close them out.
- Oversee destruction loads and maintain compliance with destruction protocols.
- Generate and compile regular reporting to support inventory accuracy, capacity planning, and national logistics alignment.
- Assist in wider inventory responsibilities and improvement projects, contributing to stock loss reduction and enhanced DC utilisation.
- Take on development opportunities with a pathway to step up into a leadership role.
About You
We are looking for the following, skills experience and attributes:
Applied knowledge of WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) and COR (Chain of Responsibility)
- Experience with SAP EWM and SAP ECC.
- Microsoft and SAP experience
- Ability to Prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) appropriate warehouse processes
- Understanding of the wider supply chain processes & impact on stock availability
