The Role
Location: 128 Briens Rd, Northmead
Working Hours: Between 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Additional Info: Potential overtime is available during busy periods
Due to internal promotions, we are looking for a Forklift Production Team Member to join our amazing Raw Materials team based at our Raw Materials site in Northmead.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is safety-conscious, reliable, and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse!
Our business couldn't operate without our customer driven, quick-thinking and energetic Production Team Members! It’s a fast-moving, hands-on, physical role - so you’ll need to be physically fit and raring to go.
As one of our Forklift Operators within the team, you’ll never be bored - the work is fun and you will get plenty of exercise as you work together as a team to pick our iconic beverage brands accurately, safely and efficiently OR even contribute to servicing our grocery customers by picking pallets and loading trucks via Forklift.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and is looking for a solid career! There is proven accelerated career progression with us - some of the current management within Coca Cola started in this role and have seen their career grow!
The role will suit someone who is results orientated, solutions driven and relishes in thinking outside of the box, as no two days are the same! You will also be required to demonstrate safe work behaviours, lead by example and encourage others to do the same.
A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:
- Operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move raw materials
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Handling and storing stock accurately
- Supporting general warehouse operations
- Working collaboratively as part of the onsite team
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have or possess:
Moderate Microsoft Excel and Word experience is required.
MUST hold a valid Forklift License and experience operating a twin tyne forklift
Be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and able to work towards required timelines.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success - you persevere and are resilient if things go wrong.
Have the ability to problem solve, identify next steps and controls
