About your new role…

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workplace Relations Teams as our Industrial Relations Business Partner on a 12-month (parental leave cover) contract. As a key member of the team, your role is responsible for providing strategic advice, guidance and operational expertise on a wide range of topics focusing on Industrial Relations. This role is a subject matter expert on Industrial Relations within the organisation across Australia, playing a lead role through all stages of the Enterprise Bargaining process, from planning through negotiations, post negotiations and implementation.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the planning, negotiation and administration of bargaining for specific enterprise agreements
  • Conducting compliance assessments to ensure BOOT and industrial instrument compliance
  • Effective stakeholder management in complex, dynamic environments, including unions.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external partners to promote a culture of compliance and positive workplace relations
  • Site-level management of industrial disputation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant workplace relations legislation, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and National Employment Standards.


Let’s talk about you…

  • At least 7 years’ direct experience in enterprise bargaining
  • Experience in dealing with unions, ideally in manufacturing or construction
  • Proficient in Fair Work Act, Modern Award and enterprise agreement interpretation and compliance
  • Collaborative, flexible and efficient way of working
  • Tertiary qualifications in law or HR preferred
