What you become part of:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join as a Professional Fixed Assets in the Record To Report (RTR) team supporting the Australia/New Zealand business unit of CCEP. The Professional will be responsible for performing Fixed Assets financial accounting activities, as well as supporting the RTR continuous improvement agenda.

You will have individual responsibilities related to the period end closesupporting the team to achieve its monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting requirements including recording of subledger and general ledger transactions, reconciliations, completing journals, month end close and other fixed assets activities.

You will assist in developing best practice processes and highlights opportunities for process improvement and cross-country harmonization.

You will strive to create a strong business relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.

What to expect:

With the support of the Manager you will help the team achieve its monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting requirements in the fields of:

• Monthly period-end fixed assets closing activities
• Review of fixed assets registers and completion of related balance sheet reconciliations
• Compliance with company policies and SOX controls
• Participate in regular/ad-hoc reporting for consolidation/management/tax reporting
• Communication with internal/external auditors
• Instil a culture of continuous improvement and lead elimination of non-value adding activities
• Leverage technology to simplify and standardise processes

What we expect of you:

To be successful in this role, you must have strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills and demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level understanding of financial processes. You will preferably have at least 2 years experience within a multinational company or Big4.

On top of this, we expect you have gained experience in SAP. You demonstrate teamwork and verbal and written communication skills. Project and process management skills are required to successfully manage audits.

Fluency in English is required. Good presentation skills to communicate results to your stakeholders. You should have attention to detail, and apply analytical thinking for the evaluation of accounting and business processes.

Completion of or progression towards professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or CPA) is viewed as a significant advantage.

Earlier start of the working day will be required on occasion to accommodate Australia/NZ time zone.
