We're now looking for a senior and trusted communications and public affairs leader to join our Swedish Leadership Team as Corporate Affairs & Communications, Associate Director, where you will lead ourPACS team (Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability). In this key role, you’ll shape and lead our reputation, communications strategy, sustainability plan and stakeholder engagement agenda – contributing to long-term business growth, employee engagement and societal impact. As a part of our multinational matrix organization, you will also act as a member of the extended leadership team in the global PACS function as well as being part of the local Swedish management team.
Your mission
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated communication, sustainability and public affairs strategies that protect our license to operate and build our reputation
- Translate global strategies into local impact - build credibility, trust and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a strategic advisor to our CEO and leadership team
- Actively contribute and drive the Swedish business forward together with the local Swedish management team bringing in a PACS perspective
- Strengthen and protect our brands through media relations, campaigns, issues/crisis management and proactive stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate closely with The Coca-Cola Company to co-create impactful external campaigns around topics like packaging, portfolio and system investments
- Champion internal communication to drive employee engagement and bring our strategy and sustainability story to life
- Deepen relationships with key stakeholders across government, industry associations, NGOs, academia and customers – with a particular focus on the evolving Deposit Return Scheme
- Coach and empower a high-performing PACS team of four, and contribute actively to our international PACS leadership community
What you bring
We believe you're a senior PA and Corporate Communications leader who combines strategic vision with excellent execution. You bring:
- Proven experience in corporate affairs and communication, ideally in FMCG, retail or similarly complex and regulated environments
- A strong track record of working with media, public institutions, NGOs and industry bodies – preferably with experience navigating Swedish policy and stakeholder landscapes
- Deep understanding of sustainability issues, and a passion for purpose-driven business growth
- Outstanding storytelling and communication skills with fluency in Swedish and English
- Leadership capabilities to build and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and operate effectively in a matrixed global organization
- A strong contribution into the local Swedish leadership team
- A relevant university degree in communications, public affairs, sustainability, journalism, international relations or law
