Assoc. Dir, Learning & Development Operations, Pan EU

Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing 'The Way We Serve', our Supply Chain academy and the subsequent training programmes. This new role will take the lead across our Manufacturing School, defining and implementing global learning and development interventions and ensuring that plans and activities are aligned with and support the delivery of the organisation's near- and long-term capability requirements.

What to Expect:

•    Partner with the Supply Chain Leadership team and People & Culture colleagues to develop a comprehensive strategy to deliver The Way We Serve and our 8 Supply Chain schools 
•    Responsible for developing and deploying our Manufacturing School, which focuses on driving capability development across our 25,000 colleagues in our supply chain operations.
•    Assume a pivotal role in leading best practices across all schools and training programme activities, ensuring that robust L&D plans are in place for all schools. The defined metrics and KPIs should clearly demonstrate the impact and value added to the business.
•    Works with functional leaders to clarify and define capabilities and skills required across our Supply Chain operations, differentiated by level, skills, technical disciplines and career pathways. Puts in place the relevant development curricula and required interventions
•    Provide information, advice, guidance and support to all stakeholders on the development and deployment of learning interventions using a variety of learning methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the learning transfer within the schools.
•    Work with key stakeholders in designing and implementing learning content for our schools and develop a consistent and accurate global training curriculum linked to The Way We Serve, ensuring it provides relevant, challenging and productive learning experiences.
•    Analyse training effectiveness across our global schools, making the necessary adjustments to ensure we create a culture of continuous learning and value add within the business and embed 70/20/10
•    Acts as a Learning Advisor across Supply Chain teams 
•    Coach and develop the wider L&D team and help them grow, achieve targets and continue developing.
•    Lead or support CSSC Learning projects and manage ad hoc requests from the organisation.
•    Negotiates and manages third-party contracts for optimal delivery.

Skills and Essentials

Experience Preferred:
•    Learning and Development Capability development – creating and implementing solutions
•    Experience of learning strategically 
•    Experience in managing large project plans, clear roles and accountabilities, allocating resources, risks, support
•    Supply chain/manufacturing development

•    CIPD (or equivalent) Coaching  - not essential but preferred
