Job Purpose:

The Associate Director, ERM ESG plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact CCEP’s strategic objectives, operations, and reputation. The role is responsible for implementing the ERM framework across the enterprise with a particular focus on Sustainability and the ESG framework. A close collaboration with the business, functional risk owners and risk managers from other lines of defence is key to success. At ERM we aim to promote a risk-aware culture within our organization and drive the mindset that each risk can also be seen as an opportunity. The role forms part of a diverse and international team of risk managers across Europe and Asia Pacific.

What to Expect:

Drive the implementation of CCEP’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework in Europe. Support risk owners in central functions and general counsels in determined business units to execute the components of the ERM framework. Support the evolution of our risk management approach to remain agile and adopt best practice of enterprise risk management in our industry. Support the business in risk based decision making.
This includes leading, co-ordinating and/or contributing to:
-    strategic risk conversations with risk owners, including challenging the status quo,
-    the identification of emerging risks, using advanced techniques and AI tools, 

-   the integration of ERM with ESG and sustainability risk management,
-    the ‘top down’ Enterprise Risk Assessment and ‘bottom-up’ Business Unit Risk Assessments, 
-    facilitating the use of CCEP’s risk management tool (Riskonnect),
-    conducting and facilitating scenario planning exercises,
-    developing and executing agile and decision driving internal risk reporting,
-    operationalizing risk appetite through defining and managing risk metrics, and
-    the integration of ERM into the annual business planning process.

Skills and Essentials

Experience

•    8+ years proven experience in enterprise risk management and implementation of risk management frameworks, preferably in the FMCG or similar industry.
•    Experience in business partnering in complex cross-functional and international environments.
•    Experience in facilitating large groups and influencing stakeholders cross functionally.
•    Experience and disposition to swiftly build know-how for managing sustainability risks (ESG).
•    Project management experience.

Technical Skills

•    Knowledge of relevant regulations and risk management standards (ISO 31000, COSO).

•    Good understanding of sustainability risk management and regulations (TCFD, CSRD, etc.).
•    Advanced presentation and communication skills, including with senior leadership. 
•    Advanced knowledge of at least one common GRC tool, e.g. Riskonnect.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•    Sound language skills in both written and spoken English, a second CCEP relevant language is a plus.

•    Excellent communication (story-telling) and interpersonal skills (team-player).
•    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
•    Willingness to accommodate collaboration with team members in different time zones.
•    Able to cope under time pressure, and meet challenging deadlines.
•    Self-starter demonstrating a hands-on attitude.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
•    Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager from a recognized risk management organization, or similar are a plus.
