Production Manager – Packaging Service Division (PSD)

About your new role…

CCEP Packaging Services Division (PSD) is the internal supplier of plastic primary packaging to the CCEP Australia and Pacific Island businesses. We manufacture and supply over 2 billion preforms and closures to CCEP bottling sites located across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. The PSD team are integral to CCEP’s sustainability commitments, including its commitment of 7 out of 10 bottles made from recycled plastic.

Reporting into the National Packaging Manager, the Production Manager (PSD) will be critical in ensuring the manufacture and supply of preforms and closures. This senior site leadership role will be accountable for the delivery of set KPIs include safety, quality, cost and efficiency.

The role will see you managing, coaching, supporting and leading a production team consisting of 4 directs and 20 in-directs. The role will also be critical in embedding an OE/Lean culture at PSD through the coaching of peers and other PSD team members.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead a 24/7 manufacturing operation producing and supplying plastic preform and closures across ANZ region
  • Embed a Lean culture based on OE tools
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the team improving capability and performance
  • Deliver cost-out initiatives and ensure effective management of budgets
  • Support and coach teams to investigate, troubleshoot and problem solve issues

Let’s talk about you…

  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • A proven track record of managing relationships and building partnerships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Leading a team to maximum effect to ensure business outcomes
  • A demonstrated track record of managing a team to execute change programs
  • Strong degree of computer literacy
