Do you have a talent for end-to-end thinking with a strong focus on safety, quality, people, and diversity? Then you might be the new Site Director we are looking for!

The Coca-Cola Europacific Partners production site in Ghent has extensive know-how and operates 4 production lines: 3 can lines and 1 glass line.

Your job will involve:

  • Accountable for site key metrics (financial, performance, safety, quality and food safety and sustainability), achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyse variances and initiate corrective actions.
  • Set, and monitor the performance of the plant against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, legal compliance, and human resource management.
  • Establish a strong safety culture, alongside a strong quality and food safety minset, and ensure it is embedded at all levels of the site.
  • Develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts, to ensure that the plant meets it current and future targets and standards in line with CCEP standards and ways of working.
  • Research, evaluate and plan investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant’s production capabilities.
  • Provide leadership to the scheduled formal union meeting and CPBW at local level, and act as a key member of the Works Council (OR).
  • Be part of the Belux Supply Chain Leadership Team and the Belux Leadership Group, actively role-modelling CCEP Culture and ways of working. 
  • Lead and coach a highly performant and experienced team (6 direct reports: Sr Manufacturing Manager, Sr QESH Manager, Sr OE Manager, Sr Engineering Manager, Health & Safety Manager and the plant assistant), and report to the Supply Chain Director Belux. In addition, work closely with logistics (including warehouse and distribution), P&C, and Finance.

Must haves on your cv

  • Around 10 years of experience in a complex supply chain environment and experience with matrix structure of a multinational.
  • People management experience in a unionized environment.
  • Known for strong communication skills and the ability to build and sustain a positive social climate.
  • Experience with or strong affinity for quality and food safety standards within a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English to communicate clearly with different stakeholders, top-down & bottom-up.

  • Delivers maximum performance in a results-driven and cost-conscious way, without losing sight of the human aspect.
  • Is familiar with the principles of Change Management and Continuous Improvement and is able to translate these into concrete actions on the shop floor.
  • Regularly engages with employees on the shop floor and is able to listen in an empathetic way.
