 Logistics Technician(Azambuja)

About the job: 

Design, implement, and coordinate common management models across various warehouses, in accordance with established standards and procedures, and following the guidelines provided by the Logistics Manager.

What you’ll do: 

  • Define and analyze logistics procedures, ensuring proper implementation and control within contracted logistics operators;
  • Monitor and control logistics operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations;
  • Propose, implement, and follow up on continuous improvement initiatives and system optimizations for logistics partners;
  • Analyze control systems and performance metrics, ensuring data reliability and consistency with established procedures;
  • Implement and monitor corrective actions and improvement plans, in collaboration with logistics operators;
  • Design and manage internal management information systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and aligning KPIs with organizational goals;
  • Monitor and control stock levels of finished goods, ensuring compliance with obsolescence criteria and inventory policies;
  • Supervise compliance with contracted services provided by logistics operators and suppliers.
  • Implement the Road to Market strategy for Portugal, ensuring alignment with defined logistics models.
  • Execute and monitor logistics operations, focusing on efficiency and cost optimization for finished products, raw materials, and other flows.

What the role requires: 

  • Complete degree or master's in Industrial Engineering or similar (preferable);
  • At least 2 years’ experience in technical expertise in logistics operations (mandatory);
  • Experience in other companies or sectors performing similar functions (preferable);
  • Intermediate level of English and fluent Spanish (B2);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, Power BI;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Initiative and proactivity;
  • Flexibility to travel to our site frequently.
