Raw Materials Movement - Edmonton

6 Month contract

What you become part of:

Edmonton Operations produce over 50 million cases of drinks per year across their 7 manufacturing lines. The site can make up to 37200 litres of syrup per hour for the Bag in Box, ARCA, PET and Glass range of products.  They are the only site in GB to produce Bag in Box and ARCA for the business. There are over 250 people across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Edmonton and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect:

You will report into the Raw Materials Team leader working as part of our Upstream team to help to service all production lines to produce our products safely and to the highest quality. This will include many various tasks from operating Fork lift Trucks, carrying out quality checks, GMP tasks, replenishing and entering materials, supporting in all Upstream areas, housekeeping tasks and supporting the recycling operation.

  • Operating Fork Lift Trucks – Counter balance. Reach, PPT, RPT, ARCA
  • SAP knowledge, queue management and task completion.
  • Carrying out and recording quality checks
  • Replenishing Raw Material stocks (packaging, bottle lids, preforms etc)
  • Replenishing and servicing production lines
  • Carrying out hygiene and GMP tasks
  • Support line teams with ad hoc tasks
  • Uphold Food Safety and Health and Safety Regulations
  • Manual Handling  

Skills & Essentials:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work as part of a team or alone, with little supervision
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
