CAREER EXPERIENCE
Education Background:
- University Degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting)
- Qualification in LEAN Six Sigma is considered an advantage.
Professional Experience:
- Previous work experience in Finance and/or Accounting within a multinational company (at least 8 years).
- People management experience (5-7 years, out of which at least two as manager of managers)
- Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions with focus on continuous improvement.
- Fluent written and verbal skills (conversational and business communications) in English
YOUR ROLE
The Associate Director will be the primary responsible person for transitioning the financial accounting activities to the shared service center in Manila Philippines, as well as supporting the RTR continuous improvement and service excellence agenda.
You will lead the preparation of the Group’s external reporting schedules. You will also support the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns.
You will lead a team of senior managers, managers and professionals to ensure all tasks are performed in the most effective, efficient and timely manner.
You will strive to create a strong business relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will lead the team towards the effective and efficient performance of end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities of CCEP for Australia and New Zealand, including:
- Accurate and timely completion of the period-end close
- Quarterly/Annual reporting package in relation to external Group reporting (IFRS)
- Local GAAP and direct tax compliance
- Compliance with company policies and SOX controls
- Internal/external audit support
- Accounting guidance
- Primary RTR point of contact with the Australia / New Zealand BU teams
- Relationship management with key internal / external stakeholders
- Leading, managing, developing and coaching of team members
- Drive team engagement and motivation
- Support to the RTR Director in driving end-to-end standard RTR processes across all BUs
- Instill a culture of continuous improvement and lead elimination of non-value adding activities
- Leverage technology to simplify and standardize processes
- Active participation in CFIN implementation / BCP projects
- Balance sheet review and variance analysis
KEY STAKEHOLDERS:
Internal: SSC Teams, BU Teams, Internal Control
External: CCEP customers, External audit teams, Third Party Collections Agencies, Regulatory Bodies
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Above average knowledge of MS Package
- ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
