Wakefield Operations is the largest plant in CCEP and the biggest soft drink plant in Europe which produces about a third of GB’s volume across their 8 manufacturing, and 2 preform lines.  The site can produce 540,000 cans per hour and 132,000 bottles per hour. What to expect:

CCEP operates an Integrated Management System (IMS) for Quality, Food Safety, Environment and Occupational Health & Safety. The Management Systems Coordinator role is key to the effective development, implementation, and continual improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS) on site. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage & maintain the IMS Documentation according to local organisation and corporate guidelines
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of the site’s Document Control & Change System
  • Act as the main site contact for receipt and communication of new and revised documents from Supply Chain QESH
  • Manage regular reviews, optimisation and continuous improvement of the site QESH Documentation with relevant stakeholders
  • Construct the annual QESH Internal Audit timetable in conjunction with the site QESH Management Team
  • Work jointly with QESH SME’s in preparing for and facilitating the site’s external audits
  • Manage the administration of the internal and external auditing process, including ‘performance to schedule’ progress reports
  • Act as Lead Auditor for the site and be an active member of the site internal auditors team
  • Support the training and development of the site internal auditors team
  • Act as the sites online QESH Management System Power User
  • Follow up to completion of all open actions and support site team in effective evidence-based close-outs
  • Complete regular reports for the QESH and site Management Team on the appropriate use and ‘health’ of Integrum
  • Provide QESH Team appropriate information for site based QESH Management Reviews
  • Provide support to the wider QESH team throughout site and business activities, particularly related to QESH trend analysis, inspection and audit preparation, management review, and involvement in the site training agenda  
  • Conduct Trend Analysis on QESH Statistics for Performance tracking purposes.
  • Work actively to drive performance and continuous improvement in Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the site.
  • Support the development and arrangement of management systems related training with the site L& D team.
  • Subject matter expert in ISO/FSSC standards requirements as well as KORE and other Customer requirements, and aid in the education of these standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Should ideally have a a relevant food manufacturing qualification or equivalent in Health & Safety & Environment, but plenty of relevant experience, will also be considered.
  • Be qualified as ISO9001 internal auditor and/or FSSC22000/ISO 22001 Internal Auditor with Lead auditor qualifications desirable
  • Qualification as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 internal auditor would be advantageous
  • Prior experience of implementing, maintaining and auditing IMS to the requirements of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000/ISO 22001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 is required
  • Understanding of system integration and configuration management needed.
  • IT Skills:  Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Possess drive, energy and enthusiasm to motivate and lead.
  • Subcontract and customer management.
  • Experience of project management.
  • Good Communication Skills (with people at all levels)
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Food/Drink industry experience desired
