The role:
This position reports directly to the Executive Assistant & Office Manager and is based at Lae Head Office. The Receptionist is responsible for managing reception operations as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and general enquiries, while also providing consistent administrative support to Head Office functions. The role focuses on reception management, visitor coordination, document handling, and supporting a professional office environment.

A well-presented, highly personable and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent secondary education
- Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Business Studies, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related discipline.
- Additional customer service or front office training will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in reception, front office, or office administration roles within a corporate or service driven environment
- Experience within the hospitality and tourism industry will be highly regarded due to strong customer service and stakeholder engagement requirements
- Demonstrated experience in customer service delivery, stakeholder management, and administrative support
- Experience working in a structured organisation with established policies, procedures, and service standards is preferred.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality awareness
- Well-developed organisational, coordination, and time management skills
- Strong customer focused mindset, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and service excellence
- Computer literacy, including the ability to use basic office systems and applications effectively.
